CEO & Founder
Truly Essential is led by CEO and Founder Manoj Bhargava, the creator of 5-hour Energy and many other successful businesses. He believes those with more have a duty to serve those with less and has pledged to donate 99% of his wealth to facilitate meaningful change. Through his Billions in Change movement, he develops useful inventions to help the less fortunate obtain basic needs, enabling them to live healthy, productive lives. With Truly Essential, he has created life-changing hydration productsโTrue Hydration, Cellular Hydration, and Natural Glow Hydrationโthat effectively hydrate inside the cells without relying on sodium or sugar.
COO
As Truly Essential's Chief Operating Officer, Jon brings over 20 years of direct selling experience both as a field leader and corporate executive. In his time as a distributor he built multiple six-figure businesses, gaining a deep understanding and empathy for the unique needs of the field. On the corporate side, he has held senior leadership positions driving global sales operations, business strategy, and field development. Jon's dual experience equips him with unique insights that are invaluable as he leads the day-to-day operations of Truly Essential team. Jon graduated cum laude from the University of Utah.
Vice President of Marketing & Strategy
Greg brings over 20 years of marketing and sales expertise to Truly Essential, having led successful campaigns in direct selling, technology, and consumer goods channels. He's known for driving revenue growth, boosting brand awareness, and prioritizing the customer experience. Greg has made a significant impact at billion dollar direct sellers, while also gaining valuable field perspective from his time as a distributor. He developed and launched a product line that has earned more than $1 billion in sales, engineered a compensation plan upgrade that drove over $400 million in new sales, and led many other successful initiatives. Greg graduated from BYU and currently lives with his family in Utah.
Vice President of Product
Yu Ohki brings 22 years of extensive industry experience to his role at Truly Essential. A native of Tokyo Japan, Yuโs career has encompassed an extensive range within several companies as a successful distributor and executive, including VP of Product and General Manager of Japan for a $2 billion direct seller. Yuโs international background and experience from the ground up provide a unique range and scope that contributes to the success of the companies he works for. At Truly Essential, he currently oversees product development, product education, and consulting for True Hydration.
Vice President of Sales
Andrew is an accomplished direct selling executive with over 15 years of experience in sales strategy, distributor relations, international, and e-commerce. As Trulyโs VP of Sales and International Expansion Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge from successful roles at multi-billion dollar direct sellers. As a GM, he drove massive distributor engagement and efficiency improvements for a $1.3 billion market. As the head of field development, he architected global compensation enhancements and promotional strategies that increased sales by 40%. As head of customer experience, he achieved transformational results that aligned company culture with operational effectiveness. And as a former distributor himself, Andrew understands what Truly Partners need to build their teams and find success.
Executive Sales Consultant
Brandon is a seasoned direct selling executive with a background in international business, operations, sales strategy, and strategic development. Heโs led successful initiatives that have driven growth and operational efficiency in highly competitive markets. Brandon's career includes pivotal roles at two different multibillion dollar direct sellers, where he spearheaded international expansion and streamlined operations across multiple regions. At Truly, Brandon plays a critical role as Executive Consultant over operations, compensation, and technology solutions. Brandon lives in Utah with his wife and kids.
Marketing & Sales Executive Consultant
Kanwar brings over 40 years of experience in senior roles within the Direct Selling and MLM industry. He began his career at Avon in Market Intelligence and quickly moved into leadership roles, including Vice President of Sales for Avon Asia/Pacific and President of Avon Philippines. At Tupperware, he served as Regional Vice President of Sales, Managing Director of Tupperware India, and President of Tupperware North America, driving significant growth and implementing successful compensation programs. As President of Asia Pacific, Africa & The Middle East for Jeunesse Global, he contributed to the company's remarkable growth, overseeing 85% of the business. Since August 2023, Kanwar has been an Executive Consultant at Truly Essential, providing expertise in sales, marketing, and operations. He has a proven track record of transforming businesses into top performers and holds advanced degrees from Pace University, NYU, and The Wharton School. Kanwar is active on various boards and resides in Orlando, Florida with his family.
Project Manager
Jenny is a highly motivated project manager, known for her exceptional organizational skills and positive, outgoing demeanor. With extensive experience in marketing and beyond, she excels in managing timelines, budgets, and quality control for various projects. Jenny has worked within numerous industries including sports and entertainment, retail and marketing agencies. A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor's degree in Advertising specializing in Public Relations, Jenny is a valuable asset to the Truly team, bringing both strategic insight and hands-on expertise.
Director of Digital Marketing
Morgan is a seasoned digital marketing professional with a proven track record of success in various industries, including financial services, education, and event marketing. Her career began at the age of 15 when she created a blog that amassed over 100,000 followers in a few short years. She now specializes in directing multi-channel marketing strategies, demonstrating expertise in social media management, PPC advertising, and web development. With a strong foundation in graphic design, video editing, and marketing automation, Morgan excels in creating visually compelling and effective marketing funnels. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Advertising Management from Michigan State University, Morgan relocated to Metro Detroit, where she now resides with her dog.
VIP Customer Service
Evan brings with him a detailed background in all aspects of Business Operations, Customer Service and Employee Management. The majority of his 5-year career path has been spent in a large-scale Healthcare corporation, driving change for those in need of Behavioral Therapy. During this time, Evan gained extensive experience with operational transformation, and has utilized these skills to assist with the exponential growth of Truly Essential. He thrives in rapidly changing environments and is committed to providing top-notch customer service to each individual he encounters. Outside of work, Evan loves spending time with his Fiancรฉe, Abbey, and their two dogs, Kelso and Penelope. He enjoys golfing, camping, and cheering on all of Detroit's professional sports teams.

Tisha has been working in the customer service and event management world for 8+ years. She has a passion for hard work that drives her to help others and to approach challenges with innovative outside-the-box thinking. Tisha excels in planning, coordinating and paying close attention to details while consistently taking initiative. Outside of work, Tisha enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Oliver, playing volleyball, golfing and traveling.
